Utilising your forgotten and wasted space, you can reap all the benefits of having your own rainwater harvesting system without the intrusion of a large and ugly tank in your garden.
Water Bladder Maxi makes so much sense:
All your questions can be answered:
You really will be accessing forgotten space to store a hidden treasure.
What am I using my rainwater for?
Current legislation limits your internal use to bathrooms, toilets and
washing machines. However Water Bladder Maxi passes the Australian drinking
water standards. Outside you can use the water for pools, gardens, cars,
windows, etc.
Where am I going to put my water bladder?
Use your wasted space under houses, verandahs or decks.
How much height do I need?
Water Bladder Maxi can be filled to its maximum if you have 600mm clearance.
Will I need access once installed?
Access will be needed for pump maintenance. Water Bladder Maxi requires no
maintenance.
Do I need power?
As the pump requires electricity, access to a power point is required.
Can I install it myself?
Yes. Basic handyman skills are all that is required. No concrete slab is
necessary.
Are there any permits or regulations I need to address?
Check with your local council.
How much water do I want to collect?
For every 1mm of rain that falls on 1 square meter of roof, 1 litre of water
is collected.
i.e. For a roof that is 100 square metres (10m x 10m) each 1 mm of rainfall will
deliver 100 litres of water.
